Refinancing rate has been reduced by 0.25 pp

At its meeting today, the Board of the Central Bank of Armenia decided to reduce the refinancing rate by 0.25 pp, setting it at at 9.5%.

  The Lombard repo facility rate at 11 %.

  The Deposit facility rate at 8 %.

Servicing custodian accounts free of charge

According to the decision made during 28Agust meeting of "TONTON" LLC shareholders, the first year of servicing custodian accounts of the Company's corporate bonds opened in the frame of its bond issue will be free of charge. In addition the Company takes the responsibility of making the payments due to the "Central depository of Armenia" OJSC for fulfilling bond transfer orders during underwriting period.

"TONTON" LLC bond prospectus registration

On 25 August, the Central Bank of Armenia registered bond prospectus of "TONTON" LLC. According to the bond issue and underwriting conditions and procedures confirmed by the Company the underwriting will begin on 2 September and will continue for 10 working days. The issued bonds are nominal, book entry securities with semi annual coupon payments, 12 months maturity and 11% annual yield. The total value of issue is 250,000,000 AMD, 5000 bonds with 50,000 AMD nominal value. The underwriting is open to everyone and there are no restrictions. The underwriting procedure is thoroughly explained in the first appendix of the prospectus.
